Question: How do I assign GPS waypoints to my course?
There are 2 ways of assigning waypoints to your course…
via iGolfScorer on the phone: Here you record waypoints whilst walking the course. You need a bluetooth GPS receiver connected to iGolfScorer
or alternatively a phone with in-built GPS support (example: Nokia N95). Waypoints are added via the GPS screen by clicking
on the "survey" button. The GPS Screen itself is activated by clicking on the "GPS" button of the "Enter Scores" screen.
via iGolfScorer Web Analysis on the web: Since July 2007 it is also possible to survey the course online directly in the Web Analysis portal. We have integrated
Google Maps directly into our online portal. The feature is activated by clicking "Survey Course" in the course details page
for your course.
As soon as you have completed adding waypoints, you need to synchronize the course with your phone so that the data is available the next
time you play.
